Family Fit Camp Options

Studio SWEAT's Family Fit Camp










WHAT:
  We hear so much about the importance of exercise, being healthy and active so we thought we should take advantage of this opportunity and have a little family fun time where you can be active with your kids. Studio Sweat’s Family Fit Camp will provide a time for parents and kids to get out there, burn some calories and get the wiggles out! Parents, take this time to be an amazing role model to your kids and teach them the benefits of health and exercise.

WHO:

            We want your family! Parents and Kids MUST register together.

We have 3 rules:

            1. Bring a crazy, fun attitude.

            2. No SOLO kids. No SOLO adults.

            3. Must be ages 5 and Up

WHEN:  Studio Sweat’s Family Fit Camp will run for a two and a half week time period. Here are the training times!

                                -KICKOFF! Tuesday, July 31 6:00PM-7:00PM

-Saturday, August 4 8:15AM-9:15AM
-Tuesday, August 7 6:00PM-7:00PM 
-Saturday, August 11 8:15AM-9:15AM

-FINALE! Tuesday, August 14 6:00PM-7:00PM  

WHERE:  We will use new space we've acquired from our neighbor Frozen Ropes, meet at the park, and even hit the beach for the finale! You'll get a location schedule emailed to you right before kickoff, but they will all be in RB/4S, with the exception of the Finale at the Beach.

SAMPLE WEEK:

            1st Work out: Tuesday Kick Off Night

  • As one large group: (15 Minutes)

Play the name game. Spelling out each person’s name & giving 1 food for 1st letter of name. While doing squats or Lunges for each letter.

Ex: B, Bethany, Burittos.

  • Group Strength Train (20 Minutes)
  • Fun Family Game (Brining in cardio: tag) (20 Minutes)
  • End with Group Stretch (5 Minutes)

2nd Work Out: Saturday

  • Start as one large group for Warm Up & Active Stretch (5-10 Minutes)
  • Kids with Brooke (20 Minutes) (*Trainers switching each wk)
    • Focus on Simple yet fun strength training excercises
  • Adults with Bethany (20 Minutes)
    • Focus on strength training excercises
  • Group Game Time: 20 Minutes of Cardio Fun on Field
  • End with a fun healthy snack (oranges)

FINALE FUN!

  • Hike up Torrey Pines State Beach Mountain & Fun Beach Games
    • Play Cat & Mouse up the mountain.
    • Who can bury your parent the fastest.
    • Sprints into h2o.
    • Group up for a little competition where families compete (for example who can dig a mass grave the fastest) and even have a little parent versus kids fun!
